We currently operate Compañía Minera Condestable in the Mala district (Lima), where we extract copper with a processing capacity of 8,400 tonnes per day.

It comprises two underground mines: Raúl and Condestable. The processing plant has an installed capacity of 8,400 tonnes per day. Condestable is the first medium-sized underground mining operation in the world to obtain the Copper Mark certification.
Southern Peaks Mining is a privately held Peruvian company, owned by management and the investment fund GNRI. The management team has invested significant personal capital in the business and is fully committed to the company’s success.

David is a Managing Partner at Global Natural Resource Investments (GNRI), a global private equity firm focused on natural resources. GNRI was formed in 2015 following the acquisition of Barclays Natural Resource Investments (BNRI). David was a Managing Director at BNRI and joined for its creation in 2006. Previously, he worked in the mining and metals investment banking teams at Barclays Capital and Société Générale. He is a board member of multiple companies in GNRI's portfolio in the oil, gas and mining sectors. David is a certified public accountant.
Richard is a corporate lawyer with 16 years of experience in the private equity industry and has 14 years within the natural resources sector. He has worked at Linklaters LLP and Barclays Natural Resource Investments (BNRI). Richard was part of the management buyout of BNRI in 2015, subsequently forming Global Natural Resource Investments (GNRI). He currently holds various senior positions in GNRI's portfolio in the oil, gas and mining sectors. Richard is a managing director and general counsel of GNRI.
Adolfo has held several senior management positions in his career, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Volcan Compañía Minera, Executive Vice President of Silver Eagle Mines and Managing Director of BNP Paribas, responsible for Peru and the Andean region. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Lima in Peru and a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University in Canada. He speaks Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
Mariano joined Southern Peaks Mining in November 2013 as Vice President of Business Development. He previously worked as an executive director at Goldman Sachs in London, where he worked for 8 years as an equity research analyst for the energy, renewables, oil and gas sectors. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked as an analyst for two years at Deutsche Bank in London. He holds a BSc in Environmental Policy and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MSc with distinction from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, in metals and energy finance.

Enrique joined Southern Peaks Mining in 2011. Previously he worked at Pan American Silver, where he served as Country Manager in charge of all operations in Peru. He graduated as a Mining Engineer from Montana College of Minerals and has over 27 years of experience in underground mining operations. Prior to joining Pan American he held senior roles at Glencore International and Volcan Compañía Minera. Enrique is a former director of the Peruvian Association of Mining Engineers and former president of the Safety Committee of the Peruvian National Mining and Petroleum Association.
Carola joined Southern Peaks Mining in April 2013, previously she worked as head of Financial Planning and Control at Maple Energy Plc for 5 years. She also served as a senior accountant at Hochschild Mining and prior to that was a senior auditor at Ernst & Young, Peru. She holds a degree in Accounting from Universidad de Lima and a Master in Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Tecnológico de México.
Luis joined Southern Peaks Mining in 2019. He has more than 23 years of experience in logistics management in large mining operations such as Antamina, Yanacocha, Cerro Verde and Chinalco. In addition, he has previous experience as Logistics and SSGG manager at Bureau Veritas Peru. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) and a Master in Business Administration from EGADE of Tec de Monterrey.
Edgar joined Southern Peaks Mining in 2011. Previously, he held the position of Human Resources Manager at Nyrstar and Minera Huallanca. In addition, he was a corporate executive at the Gloria group and at Minera Barrick at the Pierina and Lagunas Norte mines. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería and a Master in Business Administration from Centrum Católica.
Adriana joined SPM in September 2024 as Vice President of Environmental, Social and Sustainability Affairs. Previously, she was CEO and founder of Rama Clara for 12 years, where she led the advisory, consulting, legal compliance assessments and technical-legal audits of several companies in the mining-energy sector. She has 20 years of experience in the implementation of ESG criteria and climate actions, as well as voluntary standards and criteria: ISO, ICMM, GRI Mining, IRMA, TCFD, TSM Protocols and EITI, The Copper Mark, among others.
Javier joined Southern Peaks Mining in 2012. He has more than 14 years of experience in the management of mining operations. His career started at Centromin and he was subsequently Mine Superintendent at Carahuarca, San Cristobal (Volcan) and Huaron (Pan American Silver). In addition, he was operations manager at Quiruvilca (Pan American Silver/SPM) and currently serves as operations manager at Compañía Minera Condestable. Javier is a licensed engineer, with a master's degree in mining management from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería and a diploma in Strategic Management from Universidad del Pacífico.
